The FPDS-NG User Group's organization web site keeps members informed about benefits of membership. We use this site to get the word out on our organization and create a better sense of community among our members. We also include downloads of information for our members. Our Mission The Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation (FPDS-NG) User Group shares information related to FPDS-NG. FPDS-NG collects historical and statistical information about the government's procurement contracts. This is done primarily to meet the information needs of the Congress, federal agencies, and the public.
The expected outcomes of the FPDS - NG User Group are to assist with:
· Streamlining the collection of data about contracts, orders, and other procurement instruments.
· Reducing the cost of collecting that data.
· Facilitating sharing data across business functions.
· Providing accurate, real time information for strategic decision making and planning.
